The contract between us and you
Any contract for purchases made through the website will be with Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd, whose registered office is at 31a Vanbrugh Park, Blackheath, London SE3 7AE, company registration number 7193740.
For customers without a credit facility Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd must receive complete payment for your order before it can be accepted, and the contract formed. A confirmation of your order will be sent to you at the address you provided once full payment has been received. Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd.’s acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us on these terms. Any term sought to be imposed by you in your order will not form part of the contract.
Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd is entitled to withdraw from any contract in the case of obvious errors or inaccuracies regarding the products found on the website. If an error is discovered with regards to the advertised price or description of the goods that you have ordered, we will notify you of the correct details as soon as possible. We will also inform you of the amended price of the goods and ask you if you wish to continue with or cancel the order altogether.
The contract between us shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with English law, and the English courts shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes between us.
Withdrawal from the contract by you
In order to withdraw your order, Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd must be informed in writing at the address detailed above.
If you have received the goods before withdrawing your order then you must send them back to address detailed above at your own cost and risk unless the goods supplied were faulty or damaged. If you withdraw your order and Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd has already processed the goods for delivery but you have not yet received them, you must not unpack the goods when they are received by you. You must instead send the goods back to Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd at the address detailed above at your own cost and risk as soon as possible.
Once Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd have been notified of your order withdrawal and the goods have been returned to the above address in a saleable condition, then any sum taken by Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd from your credit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible. In any event, this will be within 30 days from the receipt of the goods in a saleable condition to the address above.
Availability of ordered items
As stock levels are in a continuous state of flux, if Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd has insufficient stock to deliver the goods ordered by you within 5 working days, we will notify you as soon as possible. Furthermore, the total of the goods that are out of stock will be re-credited to your credit card account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of notifying you of the insufficient stock position. Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for the inconvenience experienced.
When we put forward special offers for our customers, stocks are limited at the special offer price, and subject to availability. We update our website on a regular basis in order to keep you informed and to minimize disappointment where possible.
Delivery of your order
Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd will ensure the delivery of your goods to the person and address you give Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd at the time that you place your order.
Delivery will be made within 48 hours (within the UK, 72 hours international delivery) after your order is accepted and in any event within 30 days of receipt of the order.
Risk and Title
Risk of damage to or loss of any particular goods supplied by Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd to the customer will pass to the customer upon delivery of such goods or, if the customer wrongfully fails to take delivery of their order when it is tendered for delivery. Custom charges
If you are ordering from outside the EU, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you. It is accepted by you that Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd has no control over additional charges in relation to customs clearance and we recommend that you check with your local customs officials or post office for more information.
Liability
If the goods Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd delivers are not what you ordered, are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd shall have no liability to you unless you notify Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd in writing at the Head office address of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.
Providing you notify Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd of a problem under this condition, Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd will make good any shortage or non-delivery, to replace or repair any damaged or defective goods or refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question to the original method of payment. If the method by which you paid is no longer valid, Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd will instead issue e-coupons to the value of the refund due.
Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of any problem you notify to Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd under this condition and Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question.
Nothing in this condition is, however, intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law.
Nothing in this contract creates any right, which is enforceable by any person who is not a party to the contract.
Force Majeure
Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond its reasonable control.
Invalidity
If any part of these terms and conditions is unenforceable (including any provision in which Jubileebooks.co.uk Ltd excludes its liability to you) the enforceability of any other part of these conditions will not be affected.
Entire Agreement
