Author
Petr Horacek trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague before becoming a graphic designer, illustrator and painter. He is the author of the Books for Children Newcomer Award-winning Strawberries Are Red (9780744575767) and What Is Black and White? (9780744575774), as well as When the Moon Smiled (9780744570472) and A New House for Mouse (9781406301229). Born in Czechoslovakia, Petr now lives in Worcestershire with his wife and two daughters.
